Down Time Services Machining & Bolting has been serving our customer’s needs with complete "ON-SITE" field machining services for over 23 years.  We field machine in-place and resurface all sizes of flanges, specializing in large flanges with diameters up to 20 feet using unmodified in-house equipment that mounts both internally and externally, depending on your requirements.  We utilize boring bars up to 32 feet long and provide a 10 inch diameter bolting service with a large inventory of state-of-the-art in-house developed hydraulic tensioners.  These hydraulic tensioners are designed to be manifolded together in series using a single hydraulic pump to tension bolt/stud assemblies on flanges, pipes, reactor heads, boiler housings and various other large machinery.  We have measuring services with substantial inventory of metrology & optical equipment.  A fleet of modern, well maintained vehicles is used to transport our large portable tooling inventory, which includes lathes, flange facers, boring bars, mills, drills, grinders, optical & laser inspection tools, and more, to your site.  Below you will find a listing of our extensive machining capabilities:
